Wealth has become a thing somewhere outside oneself which we must persuade, through one means or another, to come nearer.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI should like to propose something considerably simpler.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWealth is not something you acquire. Wealth is something you apply.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAnd before we go any further, let us be quite precise about what I mean by wealth.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWealth is the marriage of abundance and freedom.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAbundance alone will not do it. A man may have an abundance of money and no freedom whatsoever. He may have an abundance of possessions, opportunities, responsibilities, admirers, ideas, and things requiring his immediate attention. Abundance, as you see, is quite capable of becoming a burden.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eNor will freedom alone do it. A man may be free of responsibility, free of debt, free of obligation, free of possessions, and free to go wherever he pleases—and still have very little with which to go there.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAbundance does not beget freedom.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eFreedom does not beget abundance.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003eBut marry the two, and you have wealth.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis distinction matters because it changes the question entirely.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIf wealth is something you must acquire, then naturally you must concern yourself with how to get it. But if wealth is a vibration—it is the union of abundance and freedom—then you may bring that vibration to whatever is before you now.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eYou may apply wealth to your money.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eYou may apply wealth to your work.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eYou may apply wealth to your desires.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eYou may even apply wealth to debt, limitation, obligation, uncertainty, and all those circumstances which seem, at first glance, to provide rather convincing evidence that wealth is absent.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eYou need not correct the circumstance first.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIndeed, that would rather defeat the purpose for wealth, as a vibration, is transformative in nature.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eFor seven days, I shall invite you to stop looking for wealth and begin \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003eapplying it\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e. We shall take the circumstances of your life as they presently stand and ask a very different question—not \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003e\u003cspan\u003eHow do I make this abundant?\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e and not \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003e\u003cspan\u003eHow do I get free of this?\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWe shall ask:\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWhat happens when I apply the vibration of wealth here?\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI suspect you shall discover that wealth has been with you all along and the revelation of wealth shall transform whatever circumstance or condition to which you apply it.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003eDay 1 — Wealth is something you apply.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIt is likely that you have spent quite enough time seeking wealth, attracting wealth, accumulating wealth, and preparing ourselves to become wealthy. Today I shall suggest that you dispense with the pursuit altogether. If wealth is a vibration, then there is nothing to wait for. You may apply it immediately.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIn this conversation, I will offer you a process designed to allow you to apply the vibration of wealth so you may both see and have the wealth already present.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003eDay 2 — The marriage of abundance and freedom.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAbundance is a splendid thing, but abundance alone is not wealth. Neither is freedom. Today we shall examine these two old friends separately and discover why neither can accomplish the work of the other—and what rather remarkable thing occurs when we finally allow them to marry.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003eDay 3 — Applying wealth to money.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWe have given money an astonishing number of responsibilities. We expect it to make us abundant, make us free, make us secure, and occasionally make us happy besides. Today I invite you to relieve money of this impossible assignment and instead bring wealth to money. I think money will be quite grateful for the change.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003eDay 4 — Applying wealth to what already is.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThere is a persistent notion that circumstances must improve before we may experience wealth. More money must arrive. Something must change. Some troublesome matter must first be settled. Today I invite you to reverse the arrangement and apply wealth to things exactly as they are. Otherwise, you are merely making wealth wait upon circumstance.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003eDay 5 — Applying wealth to limitation.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eDebt, obligation, lack, restriction, and uncertainty are generally treated as evidence that wealth is absent. But if wealth may be applied, then surely these are precisely the places where it becomes most interesting to apply it. Do not begin by fixing the limitation. Begin by bringing wealth to it and see what happens next.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003eDay 6 — Applying wealth to desire.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eYou may have acquired the unfortunate habit of treating desire as proof of absence: if I desire it, I must not have it. Today I invite you to question that assumption. What becomes of desire when it arises not from lack, longing, or waiting, but from abundance and freedom already joined together?\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan\u003eDay 7 — Living as the application of wealth.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eBy now, I hope we may dispense with the notion that applying wealth is another spiritual exercise to be remembered and performed correctly. Wealth is not a technique.
